BRISSI – WALL ART
Owning a piece of art need not be expensive. Unlike a print, there is something special about a one off painted canvas, be it oil or acrylic paint. The artist would have spent time reflecting on each of the brush strokes, bringing you something to treasure.

SAM MORRIS
Whether that’s illustrating and documenting the social history of Tewkesbury which resulted in a 8 metre long embroidery that was created by 8,000 local residents, or creating picture book illustrations or painting bespoke original commissions weaving family stories into the artwork or creatively collaborating with corporates and schools – whatever it is, it’s always about promoting creativity as a way of life.

KAREN LORD - ARTIST
Karen studied Fine Art at Leicester, specializing in printmaking. After leaving art college , she continued with printmaking and illustrations, exhibiting widely locally, and in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Mal Galleries. She has taken on varied commissions for the murals and portraits for many years, in Oxfordshire and Herefordshire, while bringing up a family. She began to study ceramics 15 years ago and, having taught life drawing for twenty years in Oxfordshire, her drawing and ceramic work is often inspired by the human form.

JILL COLCHESTER
Jill draws and paints people, preferring to capture the figure as it moves from one place to another- if a life model, or directly from life as people go about their work- not stopping to pose. She is developing a pared down style of gestural drawing and painting, using dynamic and minimal line of brush- stroke to retain the viability of the body.

MAUREEN THORBURN
Painting for Maureen began in Spain. Initially inspired by the creativity of sculpture, then moving to canvas. She works from her studio in Chipping Norton and enjoys interpreting the reality of life into abstract forms. Experimenting with techniques and ideas, unfettered by formal training she uses bright colours and mixed media to achieve her diverse art.
